OZSALE review – Shopping using the OZSALE App

So I’ve always steered away from those ‘deal sites’ as I find it so hard to work out if something is going to fit or not, by the time I find something I like, and work out what size I would be, there’s never anything in my size – but I recently gave OZSALE a go and was really pleasantly surprised.

I used their mobile app and not only did I find it very intuitive and easy to use, but you can easily filter by size and immediately see what’s available. Not only that, but they also include sizing charts on every listing, as well as tips about the fit of the brand (like whether the sizing runs small!). Talk about a revolutionary, customer focussed approach, and something that really sets OZSALE apart.

How to filter by size:

1. Click on the sale you are interested in… Either ‘by category’ by clicking on the category, or shop everything by clicking the header

2. Click on ‘size’ in the top middle and then filter by the relevant sizes.

3. Click on the item you are interested in. Read the sizing advice and refine the size of required.

Easy peasy bargain shopping!

I was also really surprised at the variety of clothing available up to a size 18, and many specific plus size sales too!

So, what did I buy?

Well, I’ve got some photo frames on their way for the new house, but I also got this light textured white jacket. The listing warned that the sizing ran small so I sized up. I’m really happy with the fit, and it has a little sheen, which works out perfectly for the party season ahead.

I’ve styled the jacket for some Christmas drinks with friends.

Jacket: OZSALE
Top: Peter Morrissey for Big W
Jeans: Harlow Denim

I was also pleasantly surprised by their tracking information a which was very detailed and kept right up to date. As items are not shipped until the sale ends, you can track your purchase through the entire process!

I ordered the jacket and a dress – both from different ‘sales’ and only had to pay one lot of postage (another feature that sets OZSALE apart). Unfortunately the dress ended up being out of stock, but I was quickly and clearly told and given a prompt refund – you can’t ask for more than that!

You can download the app here for iPhone, or android here (note my experience was with iPhone).

It’s seriously online shopping made easy – and kudos to OZSALE for creating a shopping app that actually makes online shopping easier! It’s a rare find!
