Shop What You Got – Week 3 in Review

It’s that time again!
I’ve been better at documenting my outfits this week! I’m over the half way mark and going strong. Are you playing along? How are you going??

Outfit 10

So Friday saw me off the the Kids Business Bloggers Brunch. I had a equally fab time meeting brands and bloggers. From getting up close and personal to Breville’s newest Blender (the BOSS) to cooling Indi off in front of the whisper quiet bladeless Dyson fans (they were a lifesaver on a stinking hot day with a sweaty and cranky baby) – I got to check out lots of cool appliances.

I got introduced to some new snacks and foods – the newer healthier Oliving range by Hans and the lighter Shapes (both totes delish) balanced out the decadent treats from Brumbys Bakery… Umm hello White Choc Cherry Christmas Balls – seriously, I had four of them. Ok it was six. Ok, and I took some home too. Indi got some take home goodies too – with some Only Organics baby food, ready for when she starts on solids.

Anyway, over to my outfit. It was a face-melting 38degrees in Sydney and I wore white leather pants. Yep, it was easy to spot the fashion blogger sweltering in the corner. Paired with my white sleeveless blazer and metallic top, I really loved my outfit – and I’m loving whites and metallics for summer this year.

Pants: ASOS Leather Look Pants with Cut Work Detail
Top: Sussan Metallic Top (last season) similar
Sleeveless Blazer: White Boohoo Sleeveless Blazer – plus size or
Heels: Rivers Cross Over Mid Heel Sandal
Necklace: eQuip

Oh boy – moving day. So during the day I was in track pants and tee, but we did have a couple people over to check out the new pad later that night (nothing like kicking off our entertaining in the new house surrounded by boxes!) so I threw on a colourful and cool outfit.

Top: Hot pink Sussans Tee (last season) similar
Jeans: 17 Sundays Old Flame Distressed Denim Joggers
Scarf: Kmart (gifted)

Outfit 12

Unpacking and moving. The dirtiest work was all done, so I braved some white shorts. This outfit felt a bit masculine so I threw on a quick statement necklace to girly up the look a bit.

Top: Emerson Long Sleeve Chambray Shirt
Shorts: Target White Boyfriend Shorts (last season) similar
Necklace: The Adorn Collective – The Macie gifted

Outfit 13

Family Birthday Dinner – it’s my hubby’s birthday this week, so the family got together to celebrate all the November birthdays. This is just a sneak peak of this FABULOUS Harlow dress – it’s featured in my Aussie Curves Challenge post next week so you can read all the deets then.

Dress: Harlow Love Me or Leave Me Dress gifted
Heels: Rivers Cross Over Mid Heel Sandal
Necklace: Millers
Clutch: Dorothy Perkins – last season

Outfit 14

Mothers group today so an easy denim dress was called for.

Dress: River Island Denim Dress
Necklace: Best and Less – last season
Flats: Kmart

Outfit 15

Another sneak peek of an outfit post for next week – I’m wearing the Kimba Likes and Redcliffe Style’s Style It Project November Challenge Tee. I’ve gone for a sports luxe feel pairing them with my brand new 17 Sundays slouch jeans. I got them on sale (YAY) but after wearing them a few times – Id pay full price in a heartbeat. They are amazing.

Top: Katies Shoulder Zip Stripe Tee
Jeans: 17 Sundays Old Flame Distressed Denim Joggers
Necklace: New Look metallic chain necklace – last season
Heels: White wedges Spurr Wedge Heels via THE ICONIC – similar
Handbag: Dorothy Perkins – last season

Outfit 16

Hubby’s actual birthday and we are out to dinner at his parent’s house. It’s been really hot in Sydney, and these print pants are silky and cool. The Peter Morrissey top (bought in Big W) is satin on the inside. Not only does it mean that top always skims and never clings, but it also stays nice and cool in the heat.

Top: Peter Morrissey V-Neck Shell Top
Pants: Cooper St Plus (last season)
Clutch: David Jones
Heels: White wedges Spurr Wedge Heels via THE ICONIC – similar
Necklace: Billabong circa 2005. Yep, I’ve had that one a little while.

Outfit 17

And finally it’s today’s outfit. This chiffon Tartan waterfall throw is one of my favourite Polish pieces and gives a really cool rock edge paired with the acid wash denim look dress.

Dress: River Island Denim Dress
Cardigan: Tartan Fashion to Figure Waterfall Jacket – sold out
Heels: Rivers Cross Over Mid Heel Sandal
