To be honest, Boho was never my style, until I became a mum, and now I’m a total convert. Any style designed to be chic and easy and comfortable is totally something I’m jumping onboard. The cuts are forgiving, I can layer up which means I can easily adjust to hot and cold weather – and if I’m totally honest – many layers make it easier to hide spit up. Glamorous I know. Which is why I decided to get a bit Boho Glam for Melbourne Cup this year.

My first port of call for boho chic was Bohemian Traders. The relaxed cuts mean that I’m actually able to fit into a lot of clothing on the website. I’m wearing the Dreamer Dress in Electric Blue. I ordered a size Large. It’s a swing circle cut dress, and despite the measurements on the sizing chart – the XL will easily fit up to a size 22. It comes in Black, Cream or Electric Blue.

Last year I went all out with a Locopa custom-made fascinator – this year I wanted to go something a bit different. I picked up this equip bejeweled headpiece on sale for just $10 (just a bit of a difference in price to last year’s Locopa!).

The outfit is finished of with white wedges and a white clutch from Kmart with flower embellishments. Simple. Comfortable. Still glam. Acing raceday. And all from my Shop What You Got Challenge List!
