2014 Shop What You Got: Challenge Accepted!

So it all starts tomorrow!

I’ve put a bit more planning into my list this year – I followed this simple 4 step guide to building a capsule collection, and tried to make sure I included items that would add that little bit of extra polish.

In terms of a collection as a whole, there’s plenty of denim and monochrome, with some jewel tone florals thrown in for colour. I’ve covered both the metallics trend, blue hues and summer whites (brave choice for a new mum) by including pieces on trend, it should help my outfits feel chic and current.

My final planning list looked like this:

  • 8 Tops
  • 3 Jeans
  • 2 Pants
  • 2 Shorts
  • 4 Dresses
  • 1 Jumper
  • 6 Layering/Polish pieces
  • 2 Flats
  • 2 Heels

So, what have I picked?

Plus a pair of black sandals, a pair of black flats, black low heels and white wedges.

So I’m honest and upfront about it – I’m going to a wedding next Saturday and that outfit is not counted, and my Aussie Curves ‘Favourite Colour’ challenge post was photographed a few week ago so that won’t be using these items either – however I do commit to wearing a minimum 30 outfits from my items over the course of November.

So that’s my list for 2014!! I can’t wait to get styling – I’m really excited about my collection.

  1. Your 30 items are FAB. Soooo good. The shoes are a concern to me, how will I only choose a couple of pairs. Eeeep.

OMG. I have to pull mine together tonight. I’ve been going through it in my head for weeks. I keep resisting the urge to just wear all black and white mix and match. Haha. Now to get on with it. Shoot. SO running out of time. This is my mission tonight. MUST do this.
