This week’s Aussie Curves theme of Polka Dots had me stumped… Of course, I have my absolute favourite polka dot jersey cardigan from Dorothy Perkins, but I feel like I have worn that to death.
A lot of my clothes have now been packed into boxes as they won’t be fitting me for the remained of my pregnancy and therefore can be boxed up for our big move. So I find myself looking at my accessories to (once again) save the day!
This scarf had me at Pom-poms. I’m not sure I even took that much notice of the print, but as it happens, floral and polkadots and Pom-poms… Oh my! When ever I wear this scarf I try to keep everything else relatively plain – there’s already a lot going on.
Jumping on the winter pastel bandwagon, I’ve decided to pair the subtle pink floral tones with this lilac jumper from Boohoo.
I recently jumped on the Boohoo bandwagon, and took the plunge with my first pieces from their plus size range. I’d love to be able to comment more accurately on the sizing – but I bought two oversized jumpers (this lilac one, and a mint version too) both in a size 16, and both fit – but I’m not sure how wrong you could get it with oversized jumpers. If you are looking for a more accurate sizing review of the Boohoo Plus line – check out the following blog posts from Aussie Curves girls who have reviewed/worn the line: Jessica from A’la Curvy | Melissa from Suger Coat it | Dani from Danimezza | Meagan from This is Meagan Kerr.
I’ve paired the outfit with dark wash jeans which ties in the navy from the scarf, and because I love a bit of bling I’ve popped on some pastel jewel earrings.
